Northern Ireland Local Government Awards 2010 The partners and supporting bodies contributing financially and administratively to the Awards include: Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE); National Association of Councillors (NAC); Society of Local Authority Chief Executives and Senior Managers (SOLACE); William Johnston Memorial Trust (WJMT); Northern Ireland Local Government Association (NILGA) and Northern Ireland Joint Council for Local Government Services (NIJC). The awards reflect a culture of continuing improvement in local government in Northern Ireland; with a series of independent judging panels identifying the finalists and finally choosing the overall winner for each category.
